At the University, accommodations ensure that qualified students with disabilities have an equal opportunity to succeed. Accommodations are provided based on the known limitations of the student, without any additional cost to the student. The process involves interactive discussions between the Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) and the student, considering the barriers resulting from the disability, possible accommodations, access to courses and facilities, and preservation of essential elements.
